Zou De Moon (bred in 2017 by ZOUSTAR out of MOON DE FRENCH) is by ZOUSTAR who won the Group-1 Golden Rose and Coolmore Stud Stakes in 2013. Considered to be one of Australia’s best sires, ZOUSTAR’S progeny have been impressive at stakes level worldwide with him producing elite group 1 winners such as ZOUGOTCHA, JOLIESTAR, OZZMOSIS and LEZOO to name a few. His popularity was proven recently with a 1.6% share in the stallion, selling for a staggering $1.3 million through an Inglis digital sale. Out of Stakes winning mare MOON DE FRENCH, who finished 3rd in the Group-1 Oak Tree Lady’s Secret Stakes at Hollywood Park in the USA. Zou De Moon herself was a $150,000 purchase at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale and proved to be a highly talented and consistent racehorse winning 6 races from 18 starts, amassing $186,945 in prize-money, finishing 4th in the Listed BRC Bernborough Plate. The mare was served in the 2023 season by Newgate Farm’s IN THE CONGO, who won the Group-1 Golden Rose, and is believed in foal.

Zudu Spirit (Bred in 2018 by ZOUSTAR out of Sudu Queen) was a fast, stakes placed race filly, who had four wins in total, with three at 2-years-old over 1200m. By the outstanding Australian sire ZOUSTAR, who has produced 45 individual Australian stakes winners and multiple Group-1 winners across Europe and Australia. Zudu Spirit is out of an INVINCIBLE SPIRIT mare from a strong family, steeped in black-type quality, with the likes of multiple stakes winners SALON SOLDIER, MONBLUE and ZOUMON, who finished 4th in a strong field in the Australian Derby.
